Hi, my name is Jammie Lynn, and I own Jammie Lynn's Cleaning, a residential cleaning company.
After relocating to the Carolinas, finding work in my desired field proved challenging. It was my youngest daughter, Heather, who sparked the idea that changed everything. Noticing my penchant for cleaning during my free time, she suggested I turn my passion into a business.
Embracing the idea, I secured a business license, created a website, and designed business cards. At that time, there was only one other cleaning company in the area, so I focused on how to differentiate my services and compete effectively.
Through hard work and dedication, I gradually grew my clientele and expanded my staff. However, the year 2020 brought unexpected challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic struck, and I faced some altering life changes but surprisingly, the demand for our cleaning services remained strong, but maintaining adequate staffing became a struggle. In this challenging time, Heather and I took the reins, operating the business together.
Our resilience paid off, and we continued to serve our clients, adapting to the new normal and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of those we served. This journey, though fraught with obstacles, has been a testament to perseverance, adaptability, and the importance of family support.
